The Castle of Sant Ferran of Figueres (S.XVIII), declared an Good of Cultural Interest and cataloged as an Artistic Historical Monument, is considered as the largest bastioned fortress in Europe. The guided tour "The Cathedral of the water" is highly recommended, where a guided tour is made with all-terrain vehicles on the outside of the fortress and with inflatable boats to the underground water tanks of the castle.
